With the determination, hard work and fan’s support they managed to score the 3rd goal in the 8th minute. The goal was scored by the Captain Brenden Morrow whose defected shot from 13 feet found the back of the net. With the score on

3rd Period
The last period of the match didn’t see much as the Dallas Stars had already sealed the win with the dominating first 2 periods of the match after scoring 4 goals. The winning team didn’t look to attack a lot and changed the roster with the comfortable lead
that they established.
The Dallas Stars concentrated on defence rather than the offence. The only goal that was scored in the period was in favour of the Detroit Red Wings which was no more than a consolation goal. The game ended with the Dallas Stars wining the match 4-1 after
putting up a dominating display of ice hockey.
The period saw the Detroit Red Wings score one goal out of the 12 goal attempts and the Dallas Stars coming up with 4 shots but no goals.
Red Wings coach Mike Babcock, while disappointed after his first regulation loss, was glad Mike Modano received his due, "I thought it was important," Babcock said. "He earned that over a lot of years and obviously this probably was a tough game for him
to play, no question about it. There were mixed emotions and I'm sure he would have liked his team to do better. But it's over with now and he can get on with being a Red Wing."
