2010 Compuware NHL Premiere Series-Ottawa Senators win 5-2 against Atlanta Thrashers
The Ottawa Senators were up against the Atlanta Thrashers this past Tuesday as part of the 207th game of the 2010 Compuware NHL Premiere Series. The game took place at the Scotiabank Place, home of the Ottawa Senators in front of 17,000 fans that
came in support of their teams hoping to see them win.
This was the 15th game of the campaign for both the teams as they were content on winning the match and moving up the points table. The home team, Ottawa Senators dominated the play as they managed to score 5 times in the match and came up with
an impressive performance that resulted in them winning the match 5-3 at the end.
The first period saw the home team explode from the start of the match as they fired shots at the opposing goal every now and then. The Ottawa Senators pressed on with all men in search of a goal but this went against them.

The Ottawa Senators was the first to score in the 2nd period. The goal was scored by Chris Neil from a good and powerful shot from 48 feet. The Ottawa Senators completed the dominating performance with another goal in the 10th minute
of the period. The goal was scored by Jesse Winchester through a flick shot from 7 feet. The period ended with the Ottawa Senators leading 4-1.
