2010 Compuware NHL Premiere Series – Philadelphia Flyers win 3-2 against the Montreal Canadiens

The 301st game of the 2010 Compuware NHL Premiere Series was played at the Wells Fargo, home of the Philadelphia Flyers. The game was played this Monday in front of 20,000 fans that came in support of their respective teams. This was the 21st
game for the Montreal Canadiens while the Philadelphia Flyers played their 22nd game.
Though the home team was the first to come up with attacks but they couldn’t score. They got several scoring chances but failed to score.
The home team pushed all their men forward in search of a goal after failing to score from the numerous shot they made. However, the Montreal Canadiens took advantage of this and scored in the 12th minute to take the lead in the match. The goal
was scored by Maxim Lapierre through a powerful strike.
The away side continued to dominate the proceedings and scored once again in the 17th minute to double their lead. The goal was scored by Maxim Lapierre once again. The goal this time was scored through a flick shot. The period saw the away side
coming across few more chances but they couldn’t score and the period came to end with the Montreal Canadiens leading 2-0.
During the course of the period, the Montreal Canadiens made 15 goal attempts while the Philadelphia Flyers made 9 goal attempts.
The 2nd period saw the Montreal Canadiens making a few goal attempts at the start of the period. The rest of the period was completely dominated by the home side.

to take the game from each other but no further goals scored as the home team won the match 3-2.
The final period of the match saw the Flyers making 15 goal attempts while the Montreal Canadiens made 11 goal attempts.
