2010 Compuware NHL Premiere Series – Tampa Bay Lightning win 3-1 as they hosted the Boston Bruins
The 304th game of the 2010 Compuware NHL Series was played between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Boston Bruins. The match was played at the St. Pete Times Forum this Monday in front of 16,000 fans. The match saw the Boston Bruins playing their
19th game while the Tampa Bay Lightning played their 21st game of the campaign.
The Boston Bruins had a decent start to the match as their offence was penetrating past the opposing defence regularly, during the opening couple of minutes. The Boston Bruins came across a couple of scoring chances but they failed to convert them into goals.
On the other hand, Tampa Bay Lightning were slow to start but once they got going their attacks threatened the Boston Bruins goal every now and then. The Tampa Bay Lightning had many scoring opportunities themselves but couldn’t score as well which resulted
in the period ending goalless.
