Joe Hart was still a commanding presence in goal for Birmingham against Wolves, but he showed one or two signs that he needs a bit more time to learn and mature.

Hart has had a tremendous season so far this year; but against Wolves, he showed that he might have a while to go yet before he can be considered England’s first choice goalkeeper. A poor decision to rush out of goal and challenge Kevin Doyle could easily have cost him a red card, but instead he was leniently issued with a yellow. Fabio Capello would have duly taken note.
