2011-2012 NBA Playoff Teams from the Eastern Conference: NBA Prediction (Part-3)
Fifth Playoff spot: Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic once again showed a very poor performance when they entered into the 2011 post season. Their team looked weak in defence and more importantly down the stretch in almost every game. Their performance never showed
as they would likely to surprise anyone in the league when they clinched the fourth spot from the Eastern Conference and qualified for the first round playoffs. They seemed confident in the regular season but, they suddenly they lost the fire power in their
roster.
On one end, their superstar Dwight Howard did put some extra effort but, alone he was not as influential as their opponents were. The overall team performance proved fatal for them as they never recovered and lost in the playoffs.
The title contenders suddenly shattered by all their opponents and eventually stood far behind in all departments.
Keeping in view the last years’ performance, many basketball experts have speculated about the next year’s prediction regarding Magic. They constant poor performance from last two seasons has provided no-good to the Magic. Their
declining performance helped the experts to predict one spot behind from the last season. They finished fourth overall from the Eastern Conference but they will not end up fourth in the 2012 instead they will finish most probably fifth in the Eastern Conference.

Fourth Playoff spot: Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics reached the National Basketball Association (NBA)’s playoffs in 2011 as the third seed from the Eastern Conference and now one spot behind form the previous year’s, the experts have predicted as they would qualified
for the playoffs as fourth seeded side.
The Celtics seemed very vigilant in this offseason as their management is planning to draw a fierce strategy to push their roster hard and prepared them for one final run for the Larry O’Brien Trophy. The plan is very clear as
their team also understand the very fact of their “big three”. The Celtics big three, Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce are the most important players for the Celtics and they wanted to make sure these three will do good in the future NBA season and
work hard for winning one more title for their team.
The Celtics trio of Pierce, Garnett and Ray Allen are in their thirties while this growing age is also effecting on their game. Before they grow too old, they must gathered energy and strike with full thrust in the next season.
On the other hand many basketball experts also agree on one factor as this upcoming year will be great opportunity for these three superstars. The future seasons might bring something else for them and they might not play with each-other as a team.
However, the Celtics should realize their importance and give them some extra time to prepare themselves for the next big championship. Meanwhile, the lockout in the NBA is providing them this luxury of having some extra time to
prepare the game for the next season.
