2011/2012 summer transfer window team – Midfielders (Part 2)
There are many other midfielders who have changed their clubs this season. With a lot of clubs looking for brilliant midfielders, many players decided to change their club in order to prove their worth elsewhere.
Among these clubs are the European Giants Real Madrid. With Jose Mourinho being in charge at the Spanish club, he decided to sign a few extraordinary players after losing out to Barcelona in his first season at the club.
With the summer transfer window opening, Jose Mourinho decided to sign the Borussia Dortmund star midfielder Nuri Sahin. Nuri Sahin did a lot to help the German side win the German Bundesliga and with Real Madrid being interested in him, he decided to join
the Spanish Giants.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nuri-Sahin-c28251’s last season at Borussia Dortmund was simply phenomenal. He played 40 games for the German side and in those 40 appearances he managed to produce 9 goals and 13 assists in total. He also helped the Dortmund win the German Bundesliga title.
With his exemplary performance in the German side, Real Madrid showed interest and he joined the Los Blancos in a deal worth 6.5 million Euros. Now Sahin is going to show his traits in the Spanish club even though Real Madrid are fully crowded in the midfield;
especially after the inclusion of Mesut Ozil.
Real Madrid have Mesut Ozil, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ricardo-c30950 Kaka to play in the centre of the pitch.
Jose Mourinho signed another midfielder despite having a crowded midfield. Mourinho decided to sign the Bayern Munich midfielder Hamit Altintop.
Altintop was not really getting a lot of first team opportunities in the crowded Bayern Munich midfield. A versatile player like Hamit Altintop, who can perform anywhere in the midfield, is required in all the big clubs as such players can be good fillers
for any first team players.
Jose Mourinho has signed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hamit-Altintop-c15652 because he was rarely being played in Bayern Munich and with his versatility on the pitch, he is definitely an asset to any club he becomes a part of. He can perform anywhere in the midfield and even on the flanks
and such player can help a team crowd its midfield in order to deny the opposition keep possession.
With http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 relying too much on the possession of the ball, Jose Mourinho definitely needed a player who can break play and perform anywhere on the pitch so that he can inject him into the midfield and do not allow Barcelona to keep possession for a long
time.
 Hamit Altintop penned a four year contract with Real Madrid and the 28 year old German star, who plays for the Turkish national team, is now going to prove himself at Real Madrid. Nuri Sahin and Hamit Altintop are both extraordinary players and Jose Mourinho
has made good signings; however, there is not enough space in the team to play both of them in the first team.
Hamit Altintop joined Real Madrid for free as his contract at Bayern Munich expired.
