2011/2012 summer transfer window team – Midfielders (Part 3)
Other midfielders who have left their clubs in this summer transfer window are: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082, Jeremy Toulalan, Charlie Adam and Gokhan Inler.
All these players were important to their clubs and a few were the ones carrying the whole team together. The most important transfer amongst these four mentioned above were of the Argentinean midfielder Javier Pastore.
Pastore joined the Italian side Palermo back in 2009 when he was 20 years old. He gained his experience at the Italian club and really helped them to stay intact with the top four of the Italian Serie A throughout the season.
As soon as Pastore signed for Palermo, he became their first team players. Despite his young age, he had a lot of vision on the pitch and that really helped the team in the midfield. He was a one man show for Palermo and he was definitely their best player
throughout the 2010/2011 season.
In his last season at Palermo, Pastore managed to give out 41 appearances in which he scored 14 goals and assisted 6 goals as well. Despite being as young as 22 year old, his demand in the market was really high and Palermo really wanted to cash in on him
as he was their most priced asset.
It was decided that Pastore is going to leave Palermo for either http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 or the French side PSG. With PSG offering more money to the player and the club, he decided to join PSG in a deal which was reported to be worth 45 million Euros.
The French international Jeremy Toulalan also left his club Lyon and joined the Spanish side Malaga who are trying to make a name for themselves in the Spanish La Liga.
Toulalan did not appear in a lot of games for Lyon last season and it was becoming obvious that he has to leave the French side. With Malaga offering a lot for the Frenchman, it was decided that he is going to leave Lyon for 10 million Euros.
Udinese, in this summer transfer window, have managed to become a feeder club. They sold most of their players at high prices even though they have qualified for the UEFA Champions League.
Udinese’s campaign in the Italian Serie A was simply phenomenal and it was because of players like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexis-Sánchez-c4979 and Gokhan Inler that they managed to become such a good club.
Gokhan Inler appeared in 36 games for Udinese last season and helped them with 3 goals. This way Inler came in the sights of the other Italian club http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 and it was decided that he is going to join them for 13 million Euros.
Another transfer of a midfielder which took place in this summer transfer window is of Charlie Adam. The former Blackpool player showed a lot of skill throughout the Premier League and he managed to come under the radar of many English clubs.
However, with Liverpool trying to become a powerhouse yet again in the English Premier League, their coach Kenny Dalglish decided to sign the former Blackpool man. Even though Charlie Adam was a surplus to their demands and they had Steven http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gerard-c14664 and Raul
Meireles to play in his position, he still signed Charlie Adam as he will come in handy when the FA home grown players rule applies to all the teams in the English Premier League.
Charlie Adam gave 36 appearances for Blackpool last season and scored 13 goals for them. Even with such a great performance for the English club, he couldn’t help them from getting relegated.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 signed the English player for 7 million Pounds and he is going to be playing for the Premier League sides the next season.
