2011 FIVB Men’s World League all set to begin in May – Volleyball news
The 2011 FIVB Men’s World League is one of the elite volleyball competitions in the World. The event is fast approaching as it will be officially opened in the month of May.
A total of 16 teams from around the world will take part in the activity and vie for the top honour. The Federation International de Volleyball (FIVB) is largely concerned about the success of this event.
In the regard, the FIVB has recently launched an inspirational campaign to promote the upcoming mega event of 2011 FIVB Men’s World League. In order to create awareness and grab the attention of volleyball fans around the globe, the International Volleyball
Federation has introduced a poster with four star volleyball players of the world.
The FIVB World League will draw teams from Brazil, Poland, United States, Puerto Rico, Russia, Bulgaria, Germany, Japan, Serbia, Argentina, Finland, Portugal, Cuba, Italy, France and South Korea. Since the event will be attended by a variety of players,
the FIVB has selected four best players of the world to be featured on the promotional poster. The official poster of FIVB has images of following four players on it.
Matey Kaziyski – Bulgaria Kunihiro Shimizu – Japan Maxim Mikhailov – Russia Ferdinand Tille – Germany
Matey Kaziyski originally belong to Bulgaria. He has earned a tremendous amount of success while playing for his country and also for some foreign volleyball clubs. He has strong ties with the Italian men’s club Trentino BetClic. Kaziyski plays at the position
of ‘outside hitter’ (OH).
Recently, he played an instrumental role in Trentino BetClic’s success at the 2011 CEV Champions League. He was the captain of the Italian team and led them to final victory. Matey Kaziyski is unanimously considered as the best outside hitter in the world
and he deserved to be on the official poster of FIVB.
Likewise, the Japanese Kunihiro Shimizu has been known for his wonderful sport skills. He has a strong physique and plays in offensive mode. The FIVB chose Shimizu for the poster duo to his great fan following. The Russian star Maxim Mikhailov had to be
on the poster as he is the best scorer in Russian squad. He is currently second in the FIVB World Rankings.
The equally proficient and talented German Ferdinand Tille is also one of the idols of the volleyball world. He plays in the position of libero and is regarded as a very good player. He grabbed many heads around during the 2010 FIVB World League with his
amazing performance.
The FIVB official poster containing the pictures of world’s best players is supposed to be circulated throughout the world. Hence, the fans and people in general will be attracted to be a part of the 2011 FIVB World League.
