All the teams participated in the race weekend and tried to get their best possible positions at the Marina Bay Street Circuit as well.
The sets of soft and supersoft tyres by Pirelli were used for the 14th round of the 2011 Formula 1 season.
Red Bull Racing driver Sebastian Vettel showed his best possible performance on the grid in Singapore recently, where he managed his ninth race victory of the ongoing season.
Vettel started his Singapore race from the front row on the grid and after struggling with his RB7 car, he topped the Grand Prix. The German was very competitive throughout the Grand Prix at the Marina Bay street circuit.
The Red Bull driver was closely followed by McLaren’s Jenson Button, who was 1.7 seconds off the pace of Vettel. After a strong start in the race, he made a lot of struggle for his best finish on the grid and came at the second position on the final race
classifications.
Red Bull Racing’s second driver Mark Webber did not have a good start in the Singapore race, as he dropped down his position in the first lap. He put his team back on the grid after a few laps and took third position for his team in the end.
Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso was 55.4 seconds slower behind Vettel in the 2011 Singapore Grand Prix. After starting from the fifth position on the opening grid, he finished his race at the fourth place ahead of McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton.
Hamilton suffered with a drive-through penalty during the race due to contact with Ferrari’s Felipe Massa. After that, he struggled for his fifth position at the Marina Bay Circuit in his MP4-26 car.

Massa took a positive start in the race, as he started his Grand Prix from the sixth position on the opening grid. After losing his front wing due to his contact with Hamilton, he made a lot of struggle and recovered his gap from the top runners until the
end of the race. He claimed a ninth position for Ferrari in the end in Singapore.
Sauber’s Sergio Perez ended up at the 10th position in the Singapore Grand Prix, while his teammate Kamui Kobayashi finished his race in the 14th spot after getting a drive-through penalty due to ignoring
the blue flags.
