2012. Don't you think these prophecies have an eerie ring about them?

The end of the world has been nigh too many times to recall, some of them completely ridiculous, but what about this 2012 thing that seems to be recorded by the Maya, the Chinese and many other peoples around the world? What do you reckon?

Well, while the end of the world has been predicted before, now we actually have the technology to make it happen !  

     There is a less-hyped theory that says that the "world as we know it" will end.   The thinking here is that it will change radically (some say for the better) but not be wiped out completely.   Maybe we'll just run out of "liquid dinosaurs".

I though about it and it sounds possible.

In 2012 Israel get F-35 planes, those are planes that can avoid radar and anti-air and then it could be very easy to attack Iran nukes. So maybe a World-War-III is coming in 2012.

Lets wait and see.

Many people feel that something is going to happen in 2012. Will it be mass destruction or a shift into higher consciousness is the question. Here is an interesting video discussing it:

I know anything is possible but the possibility is very remote but if by chance it does consider this statement retracted.

Some of them are ridiculous?  The fact that the Earth is still here means that they are all completely ridiculous.

The most amazing thing about the doom-sayers is that they still seem to have some credibility when the planet fails to explode on their catastrophe date o' choice.  'Did I say 2002?  Sorry, forgot to carry the one, I meant 2012'.  

Pick a date, any date; someone has dibs on the world's end.  Probably a web site too.  But in case those Mayans had it down to a science, you can pass some of your last four years on Earth reading through some of the less accurate predictions:
