2012 Friends Life T20: Kevin O’Brien excited about playing against elder brother Niall O’Brien – Cricket News Update
Somerset’s Irish import, Kevin O’Brien, is excited about his side’s Friends Life T20 encounter with the Northants at Taunton today, where he will get a chance to play against his elder brother Niall O’Brien.
Speaking to media reporters ahead of Midlands/Wales/West Group clash, the 28-year-old hard-hitting all-rounder said that Sunday night’s game at Taunton would be a little more special for him as he rarely gets a chance to play against Niall.
“It’s going to a bit of a special game for me because I think its only the third or fourth time that I have played against my older brother Niall,” said Kevin on the morning of the match.
“It’ll be a special day for us with a bit of brotherly rivalry, so hopefully the weather will hold off and we can get a full game in,” he added further.

“It’d be great if I got the chance to bowl and got him out which would give me the bragging rights when we go back home to join up with the Irish squad,” said O’Brien, who has so far played 66 One Day Internationals and 25 T20 Internationals for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ireland-c751.

we can turn that around this season and get the trophy,” he added further.
