The event will be organised by the Confederation African de Volleyball (CAVB) and it will cover its length from April 21-30.
This is going to be the golden edition of the tournament that will promote the top team of the competition into the 2012 FIVB Men’s Club World Championship coming up in October.
A total of 22 teams, which include almost all the African volleyball giants, will be on board to vie for the ticket to FIVB Club World Championship. Al Ahly of Egypt finished as the No. 1 team last year and holds the tag of defending champion. The Egyptian

Prior to the competition, the technical meeting of participating teams will be held on coming Friday. The visiting teams and their delegations will be greeted by National Volleyball Federation of Tunisia.
Afterwards, the actual action will start off on Saturday. Teams will be divided into different pools and tournament will be opened with the preliminary robin round. The African teams are in the process of finalising their rosters and soon they will get the
