2012 Opponent Preview: Seattle Seahawks face Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills
We have arrived into to the second half of Seattle Seahawks’ season. In this article, we will preview Seahawks games to be held in week 12, 13 and 15.
Week 11 will be the Bye Week for Seahawks. They will play Arizona Cardinals in week 14, San Francisco 49ers in Week 16 and St. Louis Rams in the last week of the regular season.
Week 12: Miami Dolphins
Miami dolphins are coming from a 6-10 season. As far as talent is concerned, Miami Dolphins do have better players than Seattle Seahawks. Yet the difference between the two sides is not that big.
Miami Dolphins have good depth in the quarterback position, but their quarterback will have to work with average wide receivers.
Dolphins have changed their defensive strategy after a bad run last season and now they have four men upfront. It is yet to be seen how effective this formation will be.
Head-to-Head
Dolphins and Seahawks have played 13 games against each other. Seahawks have won four games and Dolphins have won nine games.
Week 13: Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears have done some major restructuring to their roster and coaching staff. They have shifted Mike Tice from the position of defensive coordinator to the offensive coordinator.
This reformation means that the strict regime of Mike Martz is no more there, meaning there will be no more issues with Jay Cutler.
Last encounter between Bears and Seahawks took place in the 2011 season. Seahawks commanded the game and won by 38-14.
Head-to-Head
Seahawks and Bears have faced each other 15 times. Seahawks have won nine games while Bears have won six.
Week 15: Buffalo Bills
The situation at Buffalo Bills is getting better and better. They have a good bunch of players on the roster.
In the last season, their offence was the one that pushed the team towards a reasonable end.
This time, they have strengthened the defensive team, so as to receive better productivity from both line-ups. Now their defensive line is looking one of the best in the league.
In the offence, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick must show some consistency in his game. He performed miserably towards the end of the last season. Bills’ offence has to push hard if they want to reach the playoffs.
Head-to-Head
Eleven games have been played between Seahawks and Bills. Seahawks have won six games and Bills have won five.
