2012 Polish Open: Jaromir Janacek overwhelms Milosz Bochat in Men’s Singles qualification round
Czech Republic’s Jaromir Janacek had a perfect start of the Polish Open as he eased into the third stage of qualification round after thrashing Milosz Bochat on Thursday, August 30, 2012.
This Men’s Singles encounter kept both shuttlers head-to-head for 34 minutes and concluded with final result of 21-12, 16-21 and 21-9.
The fourth seeded Jaromir played with great precision and served notice of his supremacy in the opening and closing sets of the match.
Poland’s Milosz Bochat, who was supposed to have good run in the home event, disappointed the local crowd by putting a below par performance in most part of the showdown.
In the opening game, Czech campaigner laid the foundation of his dominance by prevailing in few nonstop rallies.
He did not take much time to get settled and started pushing his rival in all areas of the court. He mounted pressure by grabbing a couple of uninterrupted points and then doubled the impact with a flurry of power packed strokes.
At mid-game break, Jaromir was enjoying the upper hand with a mountainous total of 11 and his challenger started the second half of the set with low shoulders.
The Polish shuttler could not come out of this deficit until game point situation and surrendered after reading 21-12 score on the board.
However, the story was entirely different in the following game as Milosz showed strong character even after a severe blow of his first set loss.
This time he played with the right attitude and registered his mark with a notable difference of five points in the final margin.
Though, he was bit cautious in the beginning but he played fearlessly after a couple of preliminary rallies.
He did not lose focus at any stage of the game and managed to avoid a straight-set defeat with a staggering knock of 21-16.
Milosz lifted his supporter’s hopes with such an emphatic end of the second set as they were expecting him to repeat the show in the decider.
Conversely, third set proved a dead contest as Jaromir Janacek swept the table with a significant figure of 21-9.
The victorious shuttler will now lock horns with Antoine Lodiot of France and win will take him to the main draw of this International Series.
