Men’s Doubles team Lukasz Moren-Wojciech Szkudlarczyk of Poland played flawless badminton and exceeded Mattijs Dierickx-Freek Golinski in the final round of Polish Open on Sunday, September 2, 2012.
This title match prolonged to 28 minutes and both teams entertained the audience with a commendable show of skills while piling up 21-13 and 21-9 margin.
The local badminton arena was filled to the brim as a huge crowd assembled to support the native shuttlers who gave them a solid reason to celebrate.

Lukasz and Wojciech finished the first half of the set with a decent score position of 11-7 and gained a psychological edge.
They played with same conviction in third quarter of the game and widened the gap with 15-10 total. They did not give the opposing team even a single counter-attack opportunity and pushed them in the dark with a blistering knock of 21-13.
The second set of the match saw the Belgian shuttlers making mistakes which ultimately cost them the top spot on the victory stand of this International Series.
In the first half of the set, they could not withstand an intensive attack and stayed grounded in opening rallies.
On the other hand, Lukasz and Wojciech did not spare any loop-hole and established an unassailable lead with 8-1 margin.
They managed to go with the same flow and placed an indomitable total of 11-3 before the announcement of the mid-game break.
After one-minute interval, the Polish shuttlers lost their grip for a short span of time but then a flurry of power packed strokes helped them to reinstate their dominance.
They swept the table by a huge difference in 21-9 score and fetched the Men’s Doubles trophy in the home event.
