2012 Season Preview: Philadelphia Eagles face Atlanta Falcons in Week 8, New Orleans Saints in Week 9
After their bye week, Philadelphia Eagles face two tough opponents, one on home and the other on road.
Week 8: Atlanta Falcons

It was the second game of the 2011 season for Eagles and first defeat of the season for them. After that loss, they went on to lose three more games to damage their playoff hopes.
If Eagles want to avenge the last defeat, they have to be very strong on defence against Falcons.
Eagles were leading by 10 points by the end of the third quarter in the last year’s game, but Falcons managed to score two touchdowns without allowing Eagles to score in the final quarter to win the game.
Head-to-Head
Eagles and Falcons have played 30 games against each other. Eagles are leading the record with 17 victories while Falcons have 12 victories to their name. One game was tied.

Week 9: New Orleans Saints
Playing on the New Orleans Saints’ field will not be an easy challenge for the Eagles, but they are capable of coming out of the field victorious.
Saints have had a pretty bad offseason this year as a National Football League (NFL) investigation unearthed the bounty scandal and this has badly affected their morale.
Saints will start their season with no general manager and head coach as they both are suspended by the league for separate durations.
If the negative energy translates in to their on-field performance, Saints might struggle a lot on the field and many teams are looking to take their advantage.
