2012 Season Preview: Philadelphia Eagles to take on Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15
After a 4-12 season in 2010, Cincinnati Bengals surged brilliantly in the 2011 season to end the regular season 9-7 and qualify for the playoffs. Their postseason stay was only limited to one game, though, as they were defeated by Houston Texans.
Entering the 2012 season, Bengals have a few issues to address. They have a good offensive line-up, but that cannot lead them to victories all alone.
In the American Football Conference (AFC) North, Bengals are facing tough competition from the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Both these teams have a pretty good defensive side and even if Bengals play well in the season, their chances of qualifying for the playoffs could be jeopardised by these two teams.
Also, Bengals have to be very aggressive on defence when they face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15.
If the Eagles live up to their hype and expectations, the Bengals might not be able to win this game. They can only have a chance of winning this encounter if they give their best defensive performance.
As for Eagles, they must consider the situation the Bengals are facing in the AFC North. Bengals need to be more efficient this time so as to overcome their division rivals and make room for qualifying for the playoffs.
All in all, it seems that it will be a thrilling encounter and if both teams play with their best players on the active roster, the game could go either way.

Eagles and Bengals have played 11 games against each other. Eagles have only three wins under their belt while Bengals are leading with seven victories, with a single tied game. Eagles and Bengals are going to play only one game against each other in the 2012 season.
