2012 Taekwondo Olympics - how do i qualify.?

hey ive been training doing taekwondo for quite a while now and i am very keen on fighting for great britian in 2012 olympics.

But the thing is i dont know where i need to go to qualify .. or is it too late? please get back to me .

  1. What country are you from?  You need to be a member of your country's national federation, which is a sub group of the WTF (World TKD Federation), which is the governing body.  

    You must be a black belt.  Each country chooses it's own weight classes for which to try and qualify.  

    For example, the US is only allowed 4 participants.  2 male, 2 female, and they will choose those that have the best chance to win a medal based on international results from other events like the world championships, pan am games, etc.

  3. just give up cause you cant beat America ahahahaha. naw but really you need to look up where olympic trials are being held. a quick search on the internet should do it but they probably arent going to show up until a short time before the olympics start, so in the mean time you need to enter national competitions, which I would also suggest searching the internet for.
