2012 World Snooker Championship tickets available – Snooker News
Snooker world governing body, World Snooker has released the tickets for the first two round of the upcoming 2012 World Snooker Championship. All other tickets which are allocated to the top 16 potters have also been released on general sale. The top guns
of the snooker world are all set to take part in the mega event at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.
World Snooker spokesman said, “Any fans who missed out on getting the tickets they wanted for the first and second rounds, or semi-finals, should try again as there are now seats available for certain sessions. We have had unprecedented demand for tickets
so far, with many sessions selling out very quickly, and we are looking forward to a fantastic staging of the world's greatest snooker tournament.”
The spokesperson added, “For anyone who loves snooker but has never been to the Crucible before, it is a unique experience which must be witnessed.”
World Snooker has also launched two special packages; Premium Package and Hospitality Package, for those snooker fans who want a special experience of the tournament.
The most prestigious snooker event of the sport will feature the likes of former three-time World Snooker Championship winner Ronnie O’Sullivan, former World Snooker Champion John Higgins, the 2011 UK Championship winner England’s Judd Trump, the Golden
Boy Stephen Hendry, the Welsh Potting Machine Mark Williams, the World Number one mark Selby, the 2012 Haikou World Open winner Mark Allen and the 2012 Welsh Open winner Ding Junhui.
Scotland’s John Higgins will be defending the title he won last year after beating young Englishman, Judd Trump by the score line of 18-15. The world champ will be looking to pull up his socks because his performance after winning the championship has not
been up to the mark and there are many potters who are sharpening their cues to challenge him in the event.
The mega event will begin from April 21 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield and will conclude on May 7. Currently the snooker top dogs are playing in the 2012 China Open snooker tournament at the Beijing University Students Gymnasium.
