West Indies lost both the One Day Internationals of the NatWest series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 to lose the series 2-0. The hosts won the first ODI by 114 runs (under Duckworth Lewis method) while prevailed in the second one-dayer by eight wickets to inflict a 2-0
whitewash over http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DJG-Sammy-c1382 and Co.
After being put into bat, the home side rode on http://www.senore.com/Cricket/C-Kieswetter-c1206 (38 not out) were
the other notable contributors. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Marlon-Nathaniel-Samuels-c74804 picked up two wickets for the tourists while conceding 43 runs in his spell of nine overs.
The tourists were off to a good start to their 289-run chase, reaching 118 for 3 in the 20th over. However, they lost their head after rain’s interruption (target revised to 287 runs from 48 over), as the whole team fell for 172 in 33.4 overs.
Six of the West Indies’ last seven batsmen fell for single digit figures. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/TT-Bresnan-c2711 was England’s wrecker in chief, returning with figures of 4 for 34 in 7.4 overs. Bell clinched the Player of the match award.

the middling 239-run target quite comfortably, with five overs and eight wickets to spare..

The Men from Caribbean lost the only T20 International against England at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, by seven wickets to return home winless.
After comprehensively losing the Test and one-day leg of the tour, the Windies had a great chance of finally notching up a victory after the posted a competitive 172 for 4 in their allotted quota of twenty overs, with a counterattack led Dwayne Smith’s 54-ball
70 at the top. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/KA-Pollard-c1754 (23 off 13) complemented Smith’s efforts very well smashing the tourists to a good total.
But they did not have enough with the ball, as the visiting bowlers looked completely hapless against the blitz of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/RS-Bopara-c2373 (59). England chased down the 173-run target on the third last ball of their innings, with seven wickets to
spare. England opener Alex Hales was named as the Man of the Match for his startling 99 off 68 balls, laced with six fours and four sixes.
"With the team we have we should be winning games but we haven't been able to achieve success and we haven't been consistently good," Darren Sammy said after the seven wicket defeat in the one-off T20 encounter. "Probably we need to fight even harder. The
guys are trying really hard," he added further.
