The mayans actually had an awesome calender.  It is true that the bible does mention that only God knows the exact date and time as to when the end will come.  Personally, I believe that is when the end will be eminent at any time.  In other words I personally believe that is when the "last days" will be over and other prophecies mentioned in the bible will be fulfilled such as Armagedon, Judgement day, Gods goverment will replace wordly goverments as mentioned in Dan. 2:44 and a new millenial rule as mention in Rev. 21:3,4.  

But then again, people are always making predictions to when "the end" will come.  In reality nobody knows but God.

Yeah kiss you're butt goodbye!!!...........LOL.  I think it's a bunch of BS.  Every year there's at least one end of the world prediction.  They want me believe this one because the Mayan calendar ends...um I think it rolls over into the 13 baktun..so nothing happens.

dont u think if the world was going to end it would have ended on the date 666...2012 is not at all an apocolytic number

I think it's wrong because no one will know when the end comes. People try to say that they can estimate when, but they're pretty much full of it!

i think its all bs these predictions have been made throughout history and so far have all been wrong.
