2012 doomsday??

OKay, now this is starting to freak me out, okay so im always respecting the environment and lecturing people telling them one day if they keep being disrespectfull, it will cost us our planet, even before I found out about global warming and the information about 2012 marking the end of mankind and all the living things on Earth.

I first found out about 4 months ago, when they mentioned it on a bunch of phsicick shows, (2012 doomsday)

I felt my heart pound cuz im like paranoid and afraid of pretty much everything.

But anyways afterwards i thought to myself "nahhh! they always say that and does it happen NOOO!"

but then they wrote a book about it!!! and the mayans predicted it! and NOW a stupid movie!

Me and Allie watched it and it was a VERY powerful movie! But to speak I Have always been aware of myself, other's and the environment, and protecting the environment!

But honestly, what do you think of this whole 2012 scenario?

Do you believe the world will end then?

NOT HARDLY, SINCE THE HEATING OF EARTH HAS BEEN UPGRADED, I'D SAY ALL LIFE ON EARTH HAVE APPROXIMATELY TILL 2028, IF WE CONTINUE TO IGNORE DOING ANYTHING THAT WILL SAVE LIFE ON EARTH. NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO EARTH, ONLY LIFE ON EARTH IS IN JEOPARDY.

I for one am not worried. Doomsday deadlines through the years have come and gone. The Millerites (who later became today's Seventh-Day Adventist Church) were so sure the world would end in October 22, 1844 that they sold their earthly belongings and prepared for the coming of Christ. Biggest disappointment ever! And don't forget 1982, when the alignment of the planets was supposed to have caused the solar system to implode into the sun. And 1999 - that was a big one, too, supposedly foretold by the builders of the Great Pyramids. Then there were weirder ones, like the Heaven's Gate suicide cult that thought that a UFO behind the Hale-Bopp Comet would save them from impending doom. I doubt that the Mayan prophecy holds any more water than any of the other ancient prophecies.

The Bible Code is bunk, and Nostradamus' prophecies, though intriguing, are too vague to pin any particular event to them. Some researchers tried the Bible Code technique with the famous book "Moby d**k," and came up with hundreds of equally plausible "prophecies." You can take any combination of letters, rearrange them in certain ways, and get things that seem to make sense. It's kind of a variation on the "infinite number of monkeys" thought experiment.

Absent some supernatural occurrence or Earthly collision with an errant planetoid, I think we are all right. The only inevitable end to the earth is the death of the Sun, but that isn't for another several billion years. Hopefully, by then, intergalactic travel will be commonplace.

Since the invention of the thermonuclear bomb, we have the means of creating our doom. (See the 70s movie "The Day After" for a glimpse into the utter horror that a global nuclear war could bring.) It is just a testament to our positive side that the nuclear nations of the world have restrained themselves from waging nuclear war and ending our existence. Let's hope it stays that way.

I predict that 2012 will be just another year.

Live your life each day at a time and prepare for the future like it will go on forever.  Don't allow yourself to be caught up in events that may or may not happen in the future because you will fail to live today.   I have know souls that passed away living for the end of our world and failed to live in joy and peace.   Do not be afraid and  take the time to smell the roses.

Yes I do.  This date was set in stone (literally) thousands of years ago by the Mayans and Babylonians.  The Mayans end their calender in December 2012, and the Babylonians talk about a little known planet that orbits like Pluto that will pass between Mars and Jupiter.  The planet is almost as large as Jupiter and the gravitational pull is going to wreck havoc on our planet.

Then the Bible Code also says that 2012 is the start of the Apocalypse.  If you're unfamiliar with the Bible Code, do more research on this.  The Bible Code predicted Sept 11, JFK assassination, WW2, and much more.

Then to top this all off, Nostradamus also for told that 2012 would be the end of the Earth.

With a consensus like this, who could argue that they were wrong?

It is people like this who freak me out ,lying for pure sensationalism ,and he is also talking about Niburu the Planet of the Anunnaki ,who created us ,as slaves for their gold mines .

Niburu will pass very  close to earth ,Which it does every 3600 years ,its Gravitational pull  will create havoc ,but we can survive this ,

Some tidal waves ,earth quakes ,volcanoes maybe a shift of the poles ,you know stuff like that.Hardly the end of the world



And what about the sphinx in Egypt,who  gazes at the other planets (represented by pyramids ) when they are all in a line ,which they will be ,with the change into the AGE of Aquarius

nothing is said about an end of the world .

The Mayan Calendar ends on December 24, 2012 which they assumed that the world will end. Hundreds of civilizations predicted the end of the world and none of them have been true, so what makes this one true?
