No.  No planet X, no Nibiru.  

Nibiru is an old name for the planet we call Jupiter.  The invading planet stuff about this was invented by a fake scholar called Zacharia Sitchin.  

Planet X was supposed to damage the Earth in 2003 according to a fool or fraud called Nancy Lieder who claims to be in telepathic contact with aliens at Zeta Reticuli.  

Yeah, right.  

It would take only the most stupidly credulous to believe that two different planets would invade the inner solar system in the same decade, so the frauds who have cooked the 2012 disaster drivel up have combined the two together and put the result on the 2012 Mayan calendar bandwagon.  Incidentally, the Mayans made no prediction of doom for 2012, that was invented by another pair of fakes.

Nostadamus, Revelation, the I Ching, the fake Bible Codes  and predictions based on the length of somebody's sister's nose are all worthless nonsense.

If it was orbiting Earth it would be called a "moon" or a "natural satellite" not a "planet". A planet must orbit a star... last time I checked the Earth wasn't a star.

So Nibiru is supposed to orbit Earth in 2012? Hmm... haven't heard that one... I'll add that to my list on insane ideas about Nibiru. Don't believe a word of it.

Nibiru is supposed to be a brown dwarf... right? Oh I don't know. I go my science and not science fiction. But if it was a brown dwarf, we would've seen it by now... we've seen objects smaller than Pluto... how could we possible miss a planet larger or at the same mass as Jupiter? ITS ALL A CONSPIRACY! The Nibiru-ers like to say that we can see it *exclusively* from the south pole in 2011... no where else... only there. Thats idiotic because if it is visible at the south pole its visible everywhere in the southern hemisphere... well, thats what the government tells us... actually, thats what logic and science tells us... but then again, the government is stealing our brain waves.

Prepare for a shortage of tin foil as we get closer to 2012. People are going to be making tin foil hats and hog all the foil. Stock up now. There might be a shortage of pam too... apparently spraying pam increases the reflective properties. Prepare for a giant "awwww" on December 22, 2012 when the nuts figure out its fake. Then they will delete their youtube videos and scramble to set another doomsday date.

first.. if there's a planet that will orbit us.. nasa will alert us about it..

second.. there's no other KNOWN planet orbiting near earth..

third.. a planet orbiting us will just result to catastrophic things..

the gravity between to planets will be pulling against and to each other...

This doomsday asteroid is going to be in 2029 April 13.. its name is Apophis and its 1000ft in diameter, it will be so close that it will go beneath our communication satellites, we will be able to see it in the night sky if you are in the right hemisphere! There is a gap that the asteroid might go through and it will come back in 2036 and strike us...

there is no such asteroid... this is the same effect you get from the childrens game 'telephone' (where you whisper a phrase into the ear of the person next to you and it goes around in a cricle and the last person shows just how ridiculously the original phrase has been construed)

you're thinking of apophis, it's a 1 in 45,000 chance (last i heard, it's chances of hitting us have likely dwindled since then) and it is set to hit us in 2036 (if it will at all)

there is no asteroid, planet, comet, star or black hole that will enter our solar system in 2012 and destroy us..... sorry, slap whoever told you there was an asteroid coming in 2012.... because they're ignorant.

large objects pass close to the Earth all the time (well, often enough to be noteworthy), and no one notices until BOOM!

to clarify, there doesn't seem to be anything on the way for 2012, but there IS in 2027 (Asteroid 1999 AN10, 800m- 1800m wide), its pretty definitely a miss, close though, about 37,000 km.  In 2029 the asteroid mentioned in the previous answers 99942 Apophis( about 270m in diameter) will zip by, then miss again in 2039.
