2013-14 Ashes itinerary unveiled – Cricket News Update
Cricket Australia today, November 22, 2012, unveiled its itinerary for the 2013-14 Ashes series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013.
As per the revised itinerary, which has seen a curtailment in the number of ODIs, the Poms will play a total of 13 matches across all formats – five Tests, five One Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals.
The tour kick starts with a warm-up match in Perth on October 31, 2013, while the first Test is scheduled to begin at Brisbane’s Gabba Ground on November 21.
The second Test of the five-match series will be played at the Adelaide Oval from December 5 to 9. The http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Western-Australia-c865 Cricket Association (WACA) Ground of Perth is the venue for the third Test (December 13 to 17).
The historical Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) will host the Boxing Day Test between December 26 and 30, while the traditional New Year Test will be staged at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
Cricket http://www.senore.com/Cricket/James-Alexander-Sutherland-c65430, said that the board has announced the itinerary for the series so far in advance to facilitate the fans from UK as well as from different parts of Australia to plan their trips around the country to follow the action.
"We are delighted to be able to confirm the Ashes fixtures so far in advance of the series," Cricket Australia chief executive James Sutherland said. "It means fans will be able to plan their trips around the country to follow all the action. I am sure there will be a lot of fans from the UK who will want to make the trip over and we look forward to hosting them here," he added further. 
CA also announced the schedule for England’s four tour games against Western Australia XI, Australia A, NSW XI and Chairman's XI.
The dates and venues for the five ODIs and three T20 internationals to complement the Tests will be revealed in the New Year, the Cricket Australia officials said.
Australia will play an Ashes series in England in July-August 2013 before hosting the return leg of the traditional bilateral series in a congested year.

3rd Test - December 13-17 - Perth
