Mark Sachvie, 2014 Women’s World Team Championship tournament director, was extremely delighted at this announcement and proclaimed “Hosting the WSF Women’s World Team Championship is a wonderful opportunity to profile Canada’s
top female athletes and, at the same time, act as a showcase for women’s squash.”

anywhere, so we are set fair for a great staging to accompany the warm Canadian welcome that the visiting teams from across the globe will certainly receive. Bring on 2014!”
Women have been participating in different sports at a larger scale over the past few years and research depicted that 70 tournaments are contested all over the globe and encompasses five continents. This tournament will be conducted
in a 5-star facility area and will definitely attract large viewership that will generate considerable revenues as well.
Danny Da Costa, squash Canada’s Executive Director, felt privileged to have joined hands with Squash Ontario and The Club at White Oaks in order to accomplish the task of conducting this tournament. He felt exalted by this advancement
and proclaimed that this will definitely help to enhance the following of squash in this part of the world and develop interest in young women players in Canada to take squash seriously and make it their professional game.
Canadians are eagerly waiting for this tournament as they are deprived of such world class events due to lack of hi-fi sporting arenas and exceptional playing grounds.
