2018 and 2022 World Cup Host Contenders
 
Below is a list of the bidders who are trying to host the 2018 and the 2022 World Cup. The list for the 2018 World Cup Includes: England, Russia, Portugal, Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands.
The List of the bidders for the 2022 World Cup is Australia, Qatar, Japan, South Korea and the United States of America.
FIFA’s governing body requires every bidder to provide a pre-bid show by February 2009, then an official bid registration by March of 2009, and then an official bid Committee for September 2009.
Then a dossier that commits the country to hosting the event by May 2010 and an official FIFA delegation will go to the countries to inspect the facilities in all these countries and the committee will go through these countries from July to September of 2010.
All of this led to FIFA’s executive committee announcing the winners of the bids and the final names of the countries hosting the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
The voters on this committee include a long list of names from almost every country and the main voters who are predicted to make a difference are as follows:
Sepp Blatter the President, Julio Grondano who is the Senior Vice President then come numerous vice president from numerous countries who will cast their own votes. The list also includes members from different countries and the last on the list is the Secretary General of Italy who will cast his vote.
The Voting is carried out by FIFA’s executive committee which consists of twenty four members. This also includes the FIFA president and one representative from almost every country.
There are fifteen members from the ‘Home Nations’, then there is also a list of vice presidents who are not allowed to vote as they have been suspended from the process due to corruption charges, this includes Reynald Temarii from Tahiti and the Nigerian Amos Adamu.
This leaves another twenty two bidders and the winning country will be decide by a tally of votes which is scheduled to come out on the second of December 2010.
The votes will be showcased in front of the media. The process then includes secret balloting without the media between the FIFA committee. In case of a tie the president of FIFA, Sepp Blatter has the deciding vote in the matter.
These votes will come from the outcome of the committees that were sent to every country to check the strengths of every country wanting to host the tournament.
Also every bidder has to give descriptions of the facilities available in their countries and numerous other factors have to be taken into account.
