21 & 23 year olds in Sarasota, FL - What is there to do???

My boyfriend and I are traveling to Sarasota, FL the last week of March. We were wondering what there is to do there for people our age (21 & 23)? It doesn't have to be in Sarasota... any places near Sarasota are fine also. We'll have a car to get around. We're looking for daytime things to do and nightlife. Please help!!
