  1. go to start>all programs>accessories>calculator

    then in the calculator goto  view, click "scientific"

    haha is this you homework?

  3. 126/sqrt(3)

  4. This one you can actually do in your head...just multiply the numurators...6*.5=3*3=982=18...you should come up with this(all pieces have like denominators sqrt 3 so you can add)...18/ sqrt 3+ 72/sqrt 3+36/sqrt 3... 18+72+36= 126/sqrt 3...you can't have a sqrt as a denominatior so multiply equation by sqrt 3/sqrt 3(same as one)...18 and sqrt 3 can't be combined bc the 18 isn't a sqrt so...18sqrt 3 and on the denominater sqrt 3*sqrt 3=sqrt 9...this is equivelent to 3 bc 3^2=9...so your ans is 18sqrt 3/3...3s can go into 18 so...18/3= 6...6sqrt 3 is your final ans

  5. = 18/sqrt3 + 72/sqrt3 + 36/sqrt 3

    = 126/sqrt 3

    = 72.74613392

  6. [2((1/2)(6/sqrt3)*3)] + [2((6/sqrt3)*6)] + ((6/sqrt3)*6) =

    (6/sqrt3)*(2*1/2*3 + 2*6 + 6) = (6/sqrt3)*31

    1.5< sqrt3 < 2 by trial & error you know sqrt3 is a little closer to 2 than it is 1.5.....settle on 1.7+ just a little

    sqrt3 = 1.732; use 1.7

    (6/1.7)*16 is approx 60

    answer is 56.53 but the smallest significant digit is .5, so the final answer is 56.5

    oops..didn't notice the "6" in the final term of the original equation..multiply 31....not 16 ..so answer is approx 113 plus 56.5 = 169.5

    arrrrgggg....3 + 12 + 6 = 21   not 31

    answer closer to 109.4

  7. 42*(sqrt3)
