From personal experience, I'd say both. You're not just a Gemini or Taurus but have sides and characteristics of both the signs. I was born as a Capricorn-Aquarius myself and so I can relate to the confussion caused by the Earth and Air mixture of signs. I like to imagine the zodiac signs as a flowing current of water. When the water enters the next sign you get the mixture of flows and for a moment both signs unite and form a person that is neither or but both. Being born under the cusp has its advantages and disadvantages but by now you should know what it means to be born under the influence of two signs.
