I'm 21 and I have all baby teeth except for my 2 front teeth. My baby teeth are starting to rot out. I need something done but I have medicaid and they won't cover what I need done and I barely have money to live let alone to pay for teeth. Does anyone know what causes this and how I might be able to get it fixed. Its horrible. I get made fun of for my teeth all the time and I can't smile for pictures or show anyone my teeth. Its embarrassing

  1. Wow! And i thought i was the only one. Our case is quite similar. One oral surgeon wanted to pulled ALL the teeth, baby and the impacted adult teeth. Take a bone from my hip and put that into my mouth(due to my top jaw being so small) and then add dental implants. But the cost came around to 50,000...And i have medicaid. I know where your coming from.

  2. see a dentist and get a professional opinion and treatment plan with costs.  what exactly does medicaid cover?  this sounds highly unusual.

  3. wow i cant belive people make fun of you for that i hate people sometimes

    anway

i think you may wanna call around and ask your normal dentesit if he knows of anyone that can help you sometimes you have to fight the inshurnace company untill you get what you want what what we had to do for my jaw surgury

your gonna have to look around a lot and talk to diffetnt people

    best of luck

  4. If you have had xrays that show no adult teeth the only thing they could do would be to pull the baby teeth & implant false ones.  I think its a little different than dentures.  As for the money to have it done, you should try to find a low cost dentist willing to take payments.

  5. You need to take extra care of your teeth - this should be your #1 priority. brushing at least twice a day and FLOSSING at least before bed EVERY night. Use fluoride (ACT is good) every single day- it strengthens teeth and makes them more resistant to decay.  Although not everyone does this even though they should, YOU need to take the extra step or you will lose your teeth.  Especially since money is an issue, this will save you mega bucks in the long run. You can discuss with a dentist if a bridge is an option.  It is a permanent fixture and is much less costly than implants.

  6. Are you sure you still have baby teeth? I have never heard of that before at your age?
