21 yr Old Moving to Switzerland.. Can someone help????????

Hey, Im a 21 yr old, wanting to move to Switzerland realllyyy badddd. It´s like the country of my dreams. Ok Im a fluent spanish/english speaker. I know spanish wont help out, But Im looking to move into a city that is not too big, for example( Zurich, Geneva, Lucerne) Those I wanna try to skip for now, Im gonna try to find a job in whatever since I dont speak german nor french. I would like to live on the German Side, in a place that has tons of green, lakes, and that I can survive with the English at least to start with, I know it´s complicated, but please helppppppp. And I would like to know what´s the average wage, or minimum wage, how that insurance stuff goes, and how much rents are. Thanksssssssssssssss, i would appreciate any helpppppppp. love yalllll lol

No such thing as a job without fluency in German! Actually, the language spoken by the people in the North-western and North-eastern part of Switzerland is Alemanic, the same that is spoken in the Alsace (F) and in Baden (D). Otherwise, forget about your dream. I know, you won't like this, but you better accept how reality is.

i would really recommend moving to Lucerne. I spent some time there over the summer and loved it. It wasn't too big for my tastes and there were plenty of tourists. It is in the German side, and if you get Rosetta Stone German you can learn to speak high German quickly. People will use High German when speaking to you and eventually you could learn to speak Swiss German. Can't help much on rent (I stayed outside of the City, on the other side of Pilatus) but it would certainly be a great place to live.

Nice idee. English is the fifth language in Switzerland ! A lot of young people speak it and it´s the main language for business.

Hi. Could be quite difficult to get that job and the work permit (could be even more difficult... you need to find a job and then you or better your employer can apply for a work permit - don't work illegal here... if you are an EU-citizen it will be easier) I think you should start to learn German as soon as possible. I recommend you to apply to jobs as an English Language teacher - call these Language Schools and ask for a job. Usually its not possible to work as a tour guide because you need a special training for that in Switzerland (in Germany it would be easier to work a as a tour guide).
