21st Birthday Help! Rockford IL

Question

Sunday Im turning 21 and I want to get a group of my friends together and got hit the bars or a night club. Something with alcohol and a lot of fun in Rockford IL

Im needing some ideas. Ive never really been introduced to this scene being that Ive never been able to. I have a rather large group of guys and girls. Some couples some single but we always party together. Music would be great. We girls are fans of drunken dancing.

Does anyone have any ideas of where I could go?

Never been to Rockford, but I heard hey have something like a bar crawl there off State St.

Well, if you're willing to drive to downtown Chicago, I'd reccomend Ed Debevic's. It's a fun place,with great food, but the waiters are paid to be mean to you. It's hilarious, and if you want alcohol, they have it.

(But may I remind you, you don't need booze to have a good time.)

Did I also mention that the waiters dance on the counter tops?

I live near rockford to wow what a suprise lol i hope you have fun at your b-day maybe go to that night club that 97zok is always talking about and maybe catch a movie or something idk lol there isnt much to do lol go shopping and get ur nails done as well is always fun lol sry i couldnt help much haha

I asked my kids, who are home from college, where to go.  My daughter suggested Fatty's dance Shack, on State Street across from SwedenHouse and east a long block.  My son said Kryptonite, which is downtown on State near Church Street.
