I am guessing you are referring to the end of the Mayan calendar which is 21st of December 2012 not 1012.....

Personally i believe that was simply when they stopped predicting ****, but some people think their is another reason why they stopped their....

This claim is based on Christian text, Mayan civilization or some other source. However, there is no agreement whether in 2012 there will be the end of civilization, or humanity will be elevated to a higher level, or a new human species will evolve, or some other major catastrophe will occur.

All I know is that I will definitely be taking that day off from work.  And it's on a Friday so if nothing happens then whoo hoo! - A three day weekend!

Actually a SIX day weekend because Christmas is the following Tuesday meaning I will be taking off Monday as well because I'll be damned if I'm working Christmas Eve and I never work the day after Christmas so.....................now that I think about it, it all sounds too good to be true so the world must be coming to an end on the 21st.  : (
