  1. As annoying and what a torture it is for this all nite long, relax and act asleep so at least you are getting as much rest as you can for you and your baby.  Enjoy this intimacy with your baby that NO MAN can experience...This is what makes us girls the best.  Good Luck.

  2. lol how exciting!! I can't wait until i feel a real kick. Congrats!! xx

  3. maybe its just me... but im 29 weeks and his kicks dont keep me from sleeping i always thought maybe its too early for his kicks to wake me up but maybe im just that much of a heavy sleeper. lol

  4. I'm 41 weeks pregnant and some nights it seems like he's as active as he's ever been at night when trying to sleep. Nonstop kicks, punches, rolls and whatever else.

  5. It's because you're not moving. During the day when you're active your movements lull your baby to sleep(this is why they like rocking motions). But when you lay down to sleep you're not moving so they are active. I had an hour between 9 and 10 PM when my little guy did this. Enjoy it though, I miss it at times now!

  6. OH YEAH! With ny first child( my son 2 yrs old) he wasn't very active during the day but at night he stayed up and kicked me all night. There isn't much you can do, if you are with the father and sleep in the same bed, you can put your belly up against his back that way he gets to feel the baby kick all night too. It is a really good way for him to feel what you are going through. Also with me son it turned out that he was a "night " baby. When he was born he would sleep all day and saty up most of the night, it's kind of the baby's way of preparing you for motherhood!

    GOOD LUCK.

  7. try not eating a lot before bed (like, dont eat after 7 or 8 if you can help it). ive noticed with my babies that they were the most active at night if i had eaten a few hours before. but it's different with everyone. good luck girlie and congrats on the bundle of joy!!!

  8. Your baby is lulled to rest all day long by your motion. Each time you sit still or lay down, the baby wakes and plays.  I would suggest after you clean up dinner or complete your evening ritual you lay flat down on the couch...move over Daddy!...and allow your baby to wake up and play. Then as the night gets later finish your evening chores or morning prep, again lulling baby to sleep. Then when you are tired and ready for bed baby will be too b/c he/she was just up and played out! Hope that helps God Bless and Best Wishes!

  9. That's what happens when you get pregnant. You get all the joys of pregnancy!

  10. Oh Yeah, I couldn't sleep at all some nights. What helped me was making sure I didn't eat or drink anything at least an hour before bed. But it's really inevitable, because when you stop moving, they start! They aren't rocked to sleep when you are still, so they wake up. The "joys" of pregnancy!

  11. I know I did when I was pregnant with my baby boy!

What helped me a lot was that I didn't eat anything sweet or have any caffeine after 6 P.M.

Also, you feel your baby more in the evenings and at night because you are not as mobile.

If you try laying on your left side it might help you some.

Your blood circulation flows faster and a whole lot better to your baby's umbilical cord and that helps get more oxygen to your little one making them calmer and more relaxed.

Also, try making yourself a little nest with a butt load of pillows!!

Put one behind your back, between your legs, under your belly (while on your left side), under your feet, and one under your head.

Make sure that your head and feet are level with one another.

    It worked for me!

It helped me get some sleep at night too!!

But sometimes...I miss feeling those little bubbles and wiggles and kicks though!! :(

I hope what all I said helps you as it helped me!!

And congratulations on that new baby to be of yours!!

  12. lol yes it's hard to sleep when you have a little one kicking you all the time your baby more active at night for some reason. I am 36 weeks and Hailey is her name like's to play ping pong with my ribs that's so uncomfortable. Then she will roll around and if I watch my stomach it will move up like 2 inches is seems like in certain spot's. I try to ignore it but it dont help. Lol I just lay on my side put a pillow between my legs and if my soon to be husband's back is turned to me I will put my belly on his back so she can kick him to lol. So he cant sleep lol... But best of luck and congrats...Nicole

  13. This is definitely normal. With my first child, she kept me up all the time kicking! She is now a very active child. Try rubbing your stomach in little circular movements. I used to "rock" my daughter back to sleep by doing this during pregnancy. Or do what others were saying and don't eat a lot in the evening. With my pregnancies' the babies would always kick more if I had eaten a lot. Hope that helps, and welcome to pregnancy!

  14. YES!!! and it hurts like h**l sometimes! but i love it

  15. my baby kicked a lot too but I was such a heavy sleeper, I could sleep through it. That has all changed since I have had her though.. I hear one little squeak and I'm up!

  16. The baby is hungry!  when i was pregnant and my baby used to kick, i went and ate a snack after i ate the kicking stoped.

  17. Welcome to mother hood.

  18. This is just the beginning....if you think this is strong kicking, just wait!
