What is the best toothpaste to brush with to try and save a 7 year tabackie filled mouth??

  1. You have sensitive teeth. Use sensidine toothpaste. It stops the pain. Then see a dentist.

  2. You need to go to the dentist. You say your teeth hurt so you should really go and get it checked out, get some xrays and see what's going on in there. They sound a bit gross so maybe you could get the dentist to clean or whiten them. If you can save your teeth you should really try to, I've seen on other people how annoying they can be - don't fit, they rub, have trouble eating hard foods, small things get stuck under them. If your teeth are sensitive to hot and cold there are various toothpastes you can buy at the supermarket that help with the sensitivity.

  3. you should not get dentures if you can avoid it. i read an article about them recently, and apparently they cause discomfort for a lot of people. you can't eat properly with them.  superficially, your upper lip will thin and the space between your nose and mouth will sag and make you look much older. dentures are not the answer to all teeth problems.

work on protecting and fixing the teeth you have. visit a dentist, floss as well as brush, maybe using a mouthwash, avoid sugar and acidic foods and drinks, all the usual. i seriously doubt your teeth are beyond repair.

  4. use colgate

  5. it sounds like you have exposed the gums near the teeth root and this does hurt heaps, but the dentist can put stuff on it and it numbs the nerve ending, dentures is really awful my nanna and grandad say they cant chew properly etc.. even though you chewed tobacco and stopped thats great... but also as the previous person said als use sensydone toothpaste as it stops the teeth and especially the gums as being too sensitive but go to the dentist
