  1. First off, make sure you tell your doctor ALL your symptoms.  Your office probably has a nurse's line too and just call to letthem know what is going on as they may have some suggestions for.

How is you iron intake?  About this time in your pregnancy, a lot of women, need to supplemet their prenatals with an additional iron supplement.  It can truly make all the difference in the world.  Eat some more green veggies and I personally have to have red meat atleast every other day.  (if you're upping the iron you absolutely have to drink more water and fiber is very helpful as you will get stopped up)

Since your blood pressure is usually on the high side try also cutting back on the salt a bit (if it is low you want to add the salt a bit).

All those symptoms are normal though.  As far as the weight loss it kind of depends on where you were when you started.  Also where and how you're losing the weight.  7 lbs can be water weight believe it or not so try not to worry about it, but let your doc know.

Try eating more times a day, but spreading it out.  This will give your energy.  Make sure you aren't cutting out the carbs as they will provide you longer energy.

Get plenty of rest.  I kow it's uncomfortable but even f you just sit in a recliner with your eyes shut for awhile it is better than just watching tv when you can't sleep.  When you get light headed try to sit or lay down right away.  Also if you have been sitting or sleepin get up SLOWLY.

For the shower thing, I think every woman deals with that when they're prego. You need to take quicker and cooler  showers (don't rush in them though), but what I had to do was take 2 a day.  First one I'd wash my hair and face then GET OUT!!! Later I'd wash most of body then GET OUT.  Then, I'd soak my feet in a foot bath (pout and see if you can work a foot massage into this from your sig other too).

In 3 more weeks you'll probably have most of your energy back.  Your body changes in phases.

Make sure to let your doc know all these thins going on, but it all sounds really normal to me.  Drink tons of water.

Good Luck with the Pregnancy and Congratulations!

  2. do NOT wait 2 more weeks to see the doctor.  go see him now.  my friend developed preeclampsia in a very short time, and then her kidneys shut down.  at 7 months, she delivered through emergency c-section.  don't wait 2 weeks.  if at 5 and a half months, you haven't gained ANY weight, something isn't right.  get to the ER or your doctor TODAY.

  3. drink more water! no matter how much your drinking, you need more.

i used to faint in the shower, when i was pregnant and when i wasnt.

i am anemic.  that's why.  i'm not sure if you are but it could be the cause. make sure you mention this to your doctor, he will more than likely put you on iron pills if you are far along enough (i'mnot sure when you can start those).  also- i kept saltine crackers on my bedside table.  i'd make sure i'd eat two or three and drink what was left of my water prior to getting out of bed.

make sure you keep eating. i couldn't keep anything down but saltine crackers really helped me.  more water!

btw- i had every complication in the book, and was on bed rest at 22 wks for the remaineder of my pregnancy.  at 22 weeks they actually preformed surgery on my kidneys.  doctors are good at checking for complications - call the nurse at your clinic on tuesday and see what they say. they could call you in for bloodwork.

  4. That happen to me too, dont worry it's normal, what is happening is that your heart it's working 40% more to deliver blood and  oxigen to your baby . I almost faint in the shower couple of times too, try not to take hot shower or bath, eat small meal all the time, DRINK a lot of fluids. and if you have not gain any weight  buy some Ensure plus it has a lot of vitamin and mineral i reccommend this a lot it worked for me ( i stared gaining weigth after 5 month. I hope this help and good luck hun !!

  5. Drink water and gatorade more often.

Since you are feel like you are going to pass out you should call your doctor because you don't want to get dizzy and fall - that can hurt you and the baby.

Rest rest rest!! as much as possible
