  1. If you are asking if you should use one... don't.  There is no way to regulate the temperature or humidity on that thing and as a result, it can lead to bad hatches - both eggs that won't hatch and eggs that hatch but the chick could not absorb the yolk or needed an assist and died anyway.

    Buy a used hovabator on eBay if you are looking for an inexpensive incubator.  It will save you a lot of headache.
