  1. they help them gain weight, yes! but you also need to feed them some food to help gain it too, protein is good for that!

  2. When my oldest was 23 months, he was approx 35 lbs (he has always been big). my 22 month old is approx 27 lbs. i couldn't tell you what his height is, but he's a little shorter than average.

  3. You could give them to your child, but try sticking with whole-fat milk, grains,  yougurt, and lean proteins like chicken.

Your daughter is a little slender for 23 months, but not too bad, and if she's tall and active that could be why she is a little thinner than average. I have the semi-same problem with my son...he's 22 months, and very tall and thin himself (he weights about 28 LBS.) But, my husband and I are both tall and slender, so her genes could relfect that if you are the same way.

  4. My kids wouldn't touch those with a 10 foot pole for some reason, then I tasted it and I knew why.

About 25 pounds, she's fine. Make sure she gets the proper diet and don't worry about it, some kids are just small and willowy. Unless your Pediatrician tells you different of course.
