23rd April St George's white vehicle drive thru london and elsewhere for charity. Good Idea or not.?

This years proposed inagural Charity is Gt Ormond St Children's Hospital. Low key and a surprise procession of white vehicles, cars motorcycles and vans quietly driving through the planned route to be disclosed. Hopefully at least 23 pre 1969 vehicles inc and others. The reason pre 1969 is St George was provincialised as a Saint since that year by a controversial demotion of St George to a provincial Saint. It may even have been theologically an error.

it sounds a great idea.  anything to promote england as a nation within the united kingdom can't be bad.  but will it be perceived as just a london thing if there are not similar events in birmingham, bristol, manchester, liverpool, sheffield, leeds, newcastle ?  i am afraid it might.

it is a brilliant idea but I bet it offends the asians that kick up a fuss for flying the red and white flag like when england were playing in the world cup (football)
