  1. chart says  to use approx 3 yards or 5 tons.i put up a 18 foot and used1 1/2 tons of crushed limestone and 2 tons sand plus i put 1 inch of styrofoam over the whole thing before putting the water in you can get styrofoam cove for around the inside wall also instead of using sand

  2. 24.88 cubic feet. My original answer was incorrect. Hung calculator key. Do not order 7 yards. It would fill pool up to 2.5 feet deep.

  3. 7 yards will give you plenty enough to have some extra. That way you can make the pad a little bigger than the pool at least a foot.
