I would first get a protective envelope that are used only to protect stamps. I believe they are made of wax paper. If their value is not high right now, it could change over night. I would keep them in a safe. I kept something odd like this that was given to me in a safe place. The item has just recently went up in price after 40 years after that person collected it. I have only had the item 1 year.
