Insert grouping symbols in each expression to make a true equation:

Not sure how to make it true, I know what to put in, like brackets and parenthesis, but I just can't figure out the right combination. thanks.

  2. [24÷(3+1-2)](2+3)

  3. The answer is:

    [24 ÷ (3 + 1 - 2)] * (2 + 3) = 60

    Which is:

    (24 ÷ 2)  * (2 + 3) = 60

    Which is:

    12 * 5 = 60

  4. 24 ÷ 3 + 1 - 2 * 2 + 3 = 60

I'm assuming the asterisk  = times

    [24 / (3+1-2)](2+3)

  5. 24 ÷ 3 + 1 - 2 * 2 + 3 =

    24/3+1-4+3

    p, e, m, d, a, s

    no p

    no e

    so you m 24/3+1-4+3

    divide  8+1+5+3

    add= 17

  6. The answer is

    [ 24 ÷ (3 + 1 - 2) ] * (2 + 3) = 60

    Step 1 - Solving expression within ()

    [ 24 ÷ 2 ] * 5

    Step 2 - Solving expression within []
