24th Owner's Bonus Series – Final: A source of thrill for race lovers
At the one hand, the Doncaster sport lovers were excited while at the other, the punters were disappointed to witness a never-shattering upset in the high-profile race of 24th Owner's Bonus Series – Final that went down on Saturday, October 20.
In the £500 grade A7 contest, J. Darke’s Clone Dynamo marvellously beat A. Stevens’s hot favourite, Emporio Cobra, by a length’s margin to adorn her profile with the ace title.
The results of the race were quite surprising for many sport fans and experts who were not expecting an underdog to make such a big impact in the big event.
On the 483-metre track, the race began at 7:47 (GMT). The majority of the bettors were keen to stake their money on Emporio Cobra, thus, the blue and brindle dog was picked as the 6-4 favourite candidate.
After the break call, Emporio Cobra broke from Trap 5 while Colne Dynamo started from Trap 2. In the beginning, the favourite runner seemed to be sharp enough. He took some long leaps to take lead, but Colne Dynamo replaced him very soon.
Having placed herself on the driving seat, Darke’s talented pupil stretched her legs to the maximum extent and did not let any of her five competitors to take over her.
Emporio Cobra tried to challenge Colne Dynamo for multiple times, but in vain. Finally, the black b***h elegantly finished first.
With Emporio Cobra being second, Gortown Magic stood third on the podium. The fourth position went to Sidestep Frankie. Cute Style and s****.s****.Ruby grabbed 5th and 6th positions respectively.
The victory was a value addition to Colne Dynamo’s portfolio. It was indeed a magnificent feat.
Prior to this, the daughter of Ace Hi Rumble out of Cute Smile had won A8 483m Flat on October 6. The brilliant b***h started his career in July 2012 and broke maiden by winning a T3 race on August 24.
It is hoped that the b***h will attempt some OR victories in the months to come. It will not be wrong to say that she is destined to build up a promising career. Good luck to her.
