I drink a lot of water/fluids and I feel the baby moving often, but I don't feel hungry. I eat because I have to eat. Have any of you experienced this?

  1. Oh yea not everyone pigs out when they are preggo. A lot of people will actually just use it as an excuse to pig out, though I am sure there are those who really do have an increase in appetite. I have never really had a big appetite preggo or not. as long as you are eating even when not completley hungry you will be fine.

  2. yes, that has come and gone my whole pregnancy. Its just a hormone thing i think. I am 38 weeks and hungry all the time, but now i get full quick cause the babys so big!lol But always double check with your doc on every little change.

  3. I didn't get hungry till around the 30th week.  Then suddenly I felt like I was starving!  Just make sure you are eating healthy and enough.  I was drinking ensure shakes just to make sure I was getting enough.(they are yummy)  Towards the end I was waking up in the middle of the night to eat.  The baby will let you know when he/she needs more food.

  4. im 24 weeks too and around this time your stomach is actually moving and changing postions.I  also read that as the baby takes up more room you will want to eat smaller meals because it fills up faster.  alot of people do not feel hungry at this time .

  5. Yes, but it doesn't usually last very long for me..like maybe a few hours..LOL I think if you continue to feel good and gain weight, eat/drink when you need to. I am 20 weeks and some days I feel like I eat all day where on others I barely get enough calories in. I just go with the flow as long as I don't feel sick. I get pukey if I don't eat enough, so I am careful for the most part.
