  1. we hope you are kidding!!!!

people are losing their homes, pets and everyday possesions. to spend $25,000 on a desert in time like these is like killing innocent people.!

  2. Truthfully, If Bill Gates were to give me one BILLION dollars tax free...no, I would not. One, it looks DISGUSTING and two, it is ridiculous. I'll take a nice triple scoop hot fudge sundae and extra hot fudge on the side.

  3. The news article was about a $25,000 dessert - not a $25,000 desert.

But anyone paying $25,000 for a dessert exemplifies the world's obscene decadence. $25,000 would go a long way toward feeding hundreds of thousands of people around the world who go to bed hungry every night. Yes, it would only be a minuscule beginning, but if every 'rich' person who lavishes such gluttony on themselves were to  donate that money to feed hungry people, it could collectively become a worldwide success!  -RKO-  06/29/08

  4. If I were so rich that I absolutely didn't know what to do with my money (i.e had billions of dollars) I still wouldn't buy such a dessert. I'd get much more pleasure out of buying 1000 people a meal, or setting up an animal shelter fund etc. I couldn't get pleasure out of eating a 25000 dessert, or crapping on a solid gold toilet seat, or buying my dog a $100 filet mignon steak.

But maybe this is why I will never be rich.

  5. "tastes like a frozen hot chocolate"...I'd rather freeze hot chocolate FOR FREE!

  6. nope i wouldnt. i would rather go to dairy queen or something
