  1. if its close to water like a lake of ocean it will be woth alot. if its somewhere in the country not too much.  it will probably be maybe 5,000 or so probably more if not in the country aeas

  2. It depends on too many factors for anyone to give you a correct response.  Property values are based on many points such as: accessibility to the property (roads), if the property has a well/city water/gas/cable, etc. or access to the previous, whether the land has been cleared, comparable sales in the area, etc.

  3. Here in Pennsylvania, the price of land varies greatly, depending on the location.

In Dallas, PA, a well-to-do, wealthy area, half of an acre may sell for $25,000 (I know you are asking about 0.25).

Here in Wilkes-Barre, PA, where most of the residents are low income minorities, a half acre may cost $10,000.

And yet the two locations are just 9 miles from each other.

Its all about home values, what people can afford, how well local properties are kept up, etc.

In Dallas, PA, an older 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom ranch on a half acre with a 1 car garage may cost you close to $180,000.  And here in Wilkes-Barre, a nice 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom colonial with a 2 car garage, set on half of an acre with an in ground swimming pool only costs $130,000.

EDIT - The closest thing I could find is on Realtor.com.  In Burgaw, NC, 0.34 acres for $30,000.   Kind of expensive if you ask me!!!

  4. it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. you must take into account location.   swamp land.  hills/ mountainside.   is it buildable on  .  right of ways. traffic in area.   etc.
