  1. wow idk what to tell you because im only about to start college.

america is such a crappy country, because with so many talents, hard work, and s**+ t load of money put into education, you still can end up with no job or life. Im not saying you're like that, but just in general. Im really scared that after graduating from college, that I am going to end up with nothing. I wish I knew so I dont have to spend thousands of dollars on education if Im not going to have a bright future!! Well, I wish you the best of luck. I dont know why someone smart as you do not have a career yet. Maybe you dont really like your job. So that could be the reason why youve been exposed to many diff careers, but yet succeeded on getting a settled career

  2. You don't say what you major is, but not all college degrees prepare you for the world of work.  If you got a general-type degree, there are entry level jobs in lower professional ranks, higher level secretarial/administrative (which can be interesting), or management training positions.  There are also non-profits which don't pay a lot but might be rewarding if you value that.  Please go to the bookstore in the career and college section.  Look through books--my favorite is called "What Color is Your Parachute," and it's a classic, very fun booko to help you explore what is out there.

You have a great GPA, so you obviously can apply yourself and get good grades.  You can turn that into something, or you can do more research and decide to go to graduate school in something more specific.  Do get the book and decide what you want to do with your life!  Find your passion.

  3. These days the average person is likely to go through 6-8 careers in his/her life, so don't think you have to find one thing that will be what you do forever.  The other thing I always tell my students is that the perfect job for them may not yet have been invented.  Think of all the industries and inventions which weren't around 10 or 20 years ago that are huge now.  The key is to get started on something, even if it doesn't seem perfect, and to be vigilant about what may come available later on that seems more appealing.

If you are sitting around waiting for the perfect career to appear before you take a job, it is not normal.  If you are working, just not at something you can see yourself doing forever, then it is perfectly normal.

You might go back to the college from which you graduated and see if you can take some aptitude tests and find out what some possibilities are for you.  A lot of schools will help their alumni that way.
