  1. Since the volume of the bag of concrete should be expressed in cubic units not square, I assume your bags are 6 cubic feet, then you would need 28 bags.


  2. It must mean 1" thick. I have used bagged concrete and it takes WAY more than what the bag states. I made a 5' x 5' 4" thick base for a well-house and it took 17 bags. (80 pound bags)

  4. You need to fill 163.4 cubic feet of space.  The bags of sand you mention does not seem right? 6 cubic feet per bag?   Check the size of the bags again and divide 163.4 by the size of the bags. That will be your answer.
