When hotels say you must be 25 years old to check in, do they really enforce that? I am staying at the Boardwalk Beach Resort in Panama City, FL for Spring Break this year and no one in my group is 25 or older. Anyone know?

  1. Yes they are doing it more and more so the rooms dont get trashed!

  2. As long as you are 18 and have a valid credit card/payment you should be able to check in. I have never had a problem checking into a hotel during college. They may however require a security deposit for your group if nobody is over 25. The deposit should be refundable at the end of the stay as long as you do not damage the room. I would e-mail/call the hotel to check on this policy.

  3. I've never heard that before. Its only 25 to rent a car, Hotels I  thought were only 18. I never had a problem when i was 18.  Buit then again it could be different for Panama city on spring break... Good Luck

  4. wow thats sucks...  i thought it was 21

  5. wow, i've never seen that.  i've been getting hotels since i was 18

  6. They really only do that for Spring break.  Other times of the year it shouldn't matter.   I'm 23 and I've checked into hotels many times.  But I'm sure they enforce it during Spring Break times.
